2024 CAD continues to freeze after successfully printing

I'm in the process of updating my teams Civil3D version from 2022 to 2024. The rest of the team seems to be able to update just fine, but I continue to have problems whenever I print (from model space / paper space; with old or brand new plotters (dwg to pdf)) where CAD freezes up after finishing the print. The print - single or multiple pages via print dialogue or sheetset manager - is perfectly fine but CAD will be frozen with the printing progress bar stuck on screen. Have to open task manager and force CAD to close.

I've tried doing a clean uninstall using the CAD directions to remove updates, programs, reg keys, and folders and reinstalling 2024. This didn't work. Tried to install 2024.0 instead of 2024.4.1 and that didn't work.

Have confirmed latest windows updates and graphic card drivers are installed. 2022 prints just fine for me with any of the above toggled.

Specs:

Dell Precision 3630 Tower

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

64 GB RAM

i7-8700 CPU

Nvidia RTX A2000

Thanks, I've done everything here with one exception so I'll try that and see if it works...

Perhaps try 2025.1.1?

Here are the ways to open a support case with Autodesk if you are on subscription to seek out Autodesk Support's help:

Tried that, no projectwise integration available for my use yet which sadly is a requirement.

Curious though without Projectwise does 2025.1.1 freeze after PLOT command is executed?

Also in 2024 can you launch AutoCAD without Projectwise to see if PLOT command locks up?

I have confirmed 2024 freezes without projectwise integration. I might try 2025 later.

something your computer has which the rest of your team doesn't.

perhaps have your IT clone your coworkers machine for you to use?

Here's another thing to try in case your windows profile has problems.

You sign off from your Windows login

Ask one of your co-workers to sign in using their windows credentials creating a new windows profile.

Then run AutoCAD Civil3D 2024 and see if it freezes when you plot from there.
