2015 update in German

I have a notification that a new update is available... The install box is in German... I am not using a German version.

It's for some 64 bit object enabler.

AutoCAD 2015 updates can be downloaded from here http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/downloads?release=2015

The APP manager lists the update as being available. The "details" info leads to here:

http://download.autodesk.com/SWDLDDLM/Updates/ACA/2015/DACH/D-A-CH_Erweiterungen_2015_OE_Deutsch.htm

It's in German as well as the install box.

Perhaps maybe I didn't ask an actual question. So, "Why am I seeing this update in the first place?"

IS it possible there is a broken or misleading link along the way?

No idea, you've not provided any info about why German could possibly be an option for you or your PC/laptop. We are all end users around here just like you.

Most of us turn off (Or learn to ignore) that useless feature: the app manager is the better solution.

I received this update notification through my Application Manager also,  I posted it here http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/installation-licensing/autodesk-application-manager/m-p/5657114#M10587...

I have AutoCAD only and only have english versions installed.

Hi,

this is just an object enabler. To install that is only needed when getting drawing from users of ACA using functions from the DACH-extension (some special add-on's used in German speaking countries).

So as for every object enabler, if you don't get drawings from any of that people, you don't need to install that.

Thanks for the simple answer.. That is more or less what I figured, but wanted to make sure there wasn't some misdirected link involved.
