Hi,

I am not able to change the 'lock/unlock' properity Smiley Frustrated of a polygonal viewport by right clicking on the viewport where as it shows for a normal rectangular viewport.

Kindly advise.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

This looks like a bug in AutoCAD for Mac, I checked menu file (shortcut menu section) and it appears to be identical to PC version, but in AutoCAD for Mac it doesn't work with polygonal viewports.

Hi.
Does Autodesk read these comments so that they can correct it.
The polygonal view port can be unlocked in the properties tool bar and not
by right clicking it.
BTW I am on AutoCAD 2016 LT for Mac.

Hi Sreejith,

What you are describing is the design default for this feature in AutoCAD for Mac version. I do apologize for the inconvenience.

Meanwhile, you can still access the "display locked' option either by:

  • Using the lock - unlock icon located at the right bottom corner
     or
  • Using the Properties Inspector to Lock or unlock the polygonal and object Viewport.

I'm afraid that after all it is not "design default for this feature", but rather a defect (bug).
