View Lineweights in Model Space

I am a recent PowerCAD (Mac based CAD software), and I'm struggling with lineweights.  In PowerCAD there was an view option called "What you see is what you get."  This would allow you to see the thickness or lineweight when you were drawing.  Right now, I set my lineweights, plot and then check to make sure everything makes sense.  Does anyone know if there is a "What you see is what you get" kind of option for AutoCAD?  I am in AutoCAD for Mac 2017.

Hi,

When you define your line-weights by layer (or in worse cases by assigning it to an object) ... you can activate display of line-weights by changing LWDISPLAY to 1 (>>>details<<<)

In case you define your line-weights by CTB or STB then start command _PAGESETUP ==> modify and activate the checkbox "Display Plot Styles" as shown here:

This is for the WIndows version - possibly something similar in Mac right at the bottom of the screen -

Hi @Anonymous,

Have you figured this out yet?  On the Mac version of AutoCAD, the icon on the bottom toolbar looks like this:
