'use shift key to add to selection' setting keeps reverting back (MacBook)

Hi,

I've recently upgraded my computer to a new MacBook Pro M2 and running the latest version on AutoCAD Lt.

The option to 'use shift key to add to selection' is ticked in setting, if I untick it it'll work in the drawing that's open but when I open a new drawing it's ticked on again or when I copy any information into the original drawing it switched back on.

All previous versions I un select this and have never had a similar issue so not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if it's an issue with the new M2 Native support updates.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Nick

Hi @nick ,

Yes, this is a bug.

Please look >>>>>HERE<<<<< for the temporary workaround.

The developers are working on a fix.

2024.0.1 hotfix should fix this issue. Please click menu AutoCAD 2024 > Check for Updates to download it.

Note: If nothing happens when you click the menu, please make sure to enable AutoCAD notification in the macOS system preference panel.

Alternatively, you can also download it from your Autodesk Account portal.
