I have recently updated my mac to Monterey OS and Autocad crashes when trying to plot a layout with a raster image on, never had this problem previously and all updates are installed. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks Steve

Hi @Anonymous ,

Please specify AutoCAD for Mac version installed on your Mac.

Do you plot to physical plotter (printer)?

If yes - what if you plot to PDF file? Does it crashes?

Hi Maxim  I'm using 2022, printing to pdf works fine but directing printing just causes autocad to crash, works fine as well without the raster image on the layout, it all worked fine before updating mac os to monterey, thanks Steve

Steve,

What printer (plotter) do you use? Have you updated its software to use on Monterey?

There could be some incompatibility with AutoCAD and new Canon software on Monterey.
If you can print to PDF - use Preview button in Print window when you want to print from AutoCAD and then print from your default PDF viewer.

Hi @Anonymous ,

There was a critical bug in AutoCAD 2022 for Mac on Monterey -  AutoCAD crashes when plot drawings with image underlay.

Autodesk released Hotfix just now:

https://help.autodesk.com/view/ACDMAC/2022/ENU/?guid=AUTOCAD_MAC_2022_2_1_FIXED_ISSUES

I think you need to install it.
