UNRECONCILED LAYERS - can not reconcile AutoCAD LT 2016 with Mac Sierra

Since updating to Sierra, I am getting a lot of UNRECONCILED LAYERS warnings when going to print, but when I hit the reconcile all layers button, nothing happens. This usually took care of it. Not sure if I'm doing something different, or if it's the updated OS.

It may indeed be Mac OS 10.12. We don't support AutoCAD for Mac on the new system yet and there are some issues. We will be releasing updates for AutoCAD for Mac 2015 and 2016 to make the programs compatible. There is no ETA yet on when the updates will become available.

You might try resetting AutoCAD to defaults. The option is under the AutoCAD program menu.

If you are having serious problems and the computer is mission critical for AutoCAD, I would suggest using Time Machine and roll the system back to what it was before Sierra.

Is the reconcile layers function not working for any other Mac users? If I'm the only one, maybe there's a less drastic solution? What would restore to defaults actually do?

I personally haven't specifically heard of layer reconciling not working in AutoCAD for Mac on Sierra and I don't seem to see a bug report in our system about it. Other users who have been daring enough to upgrade to Sierra should chime in on this.

How about signing up for the beta program for AutoCAD for Mac 2017? Here is the link:

You may have 2016 and 2017 installed side-by-side.

Hi,

I think the simplest solution could be to set System variable LAYEREVALCTL=0,
this disables the evaluation and notification of new layers in all drawings.

I will try this next time I have the issue. So far, although I'm not aware of anything I've done differently, it has stopped for now.  It may have been something in the drawing(s) I was working in at the time, and it's tough to say because now I don't even remember what specific drawings I had open when it was doing this, but it happened on several in consecutive days. All I've done since is restart my computer. Sorry & Thanks! I will update here if/when it occurs again!

Thanks! I changed LAYEREVALCTL to 0 and saved the drawing, the "URECONCILED LAYERS" folder in layers disappeared and Autocad no longer gives me the Unreconciled Layers message when printing. Thanks!

FYI, this happened again on the same drawing after installing update 4 today. I reset the LAYEREVALCTL to 0, and took care of it, again. Thanks!
