Text and Mtext shifting in AutoCAD for Mac

Since upgrading to AutoCadLT 2016 I have been having this problem:  when I zoom my text and Mtext "jumps".  It seems to stretch and then settle back into position.  This is irritating and makes editing difficult.  How do I stop this.  I am not very tech savy so simple directions would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Can you please give me some details on your configuration? Which operating system is it? Have you also installed SP1 for Autocad LT 2016?

If you feel comfortable... can you do a screencast (software to make videos on a computer) of this phenomenon to show me exactly what you mean?

So, please install the Service Pack and try then.

If the problem still persists, then use another textfont and let me know if anything changes.

The downloads for SP1 are configured for Windows.  I am on a Mac.  Is there a way around this or does AutoDesk offer a Mac version?

You are in the wrong forum so you got information for a version that is not yours. Post in the correct forum to get the correct advice.

Does the text "jump" when you edit it (double-click on it)? If yes, you changed the text style (or LT replaced it with one you have since the one it needed is missing) and is a common symptom. Since you did not share a DWG file there might be other guesses worth waiting for too.

Hi Janet,

It is knowing defect (bug) in AutoCAD 2016 for Mac - in both full and LT version. And there is no workaround to resolve this issue.
Unfortunately SP1 doesn't resolve this issue too, so we need to wait some additional solution from the developers.

I downloaded the upgrade for Mac and that seemed to solve the problem.  (By the way, the text was not jumping when I tried to edit it, only when I zoomed.)  Thanks to everyone.

I thought that the upgrade solved the problem but it didn't.  I haven't tried changing the font.  But a subsequent reply said that there is no solution to this glitch.  I posted the same question on the MAC forum after I realized that the problem still existed.  Sorry for the confusion.
