Symbols

How can I get GD&T symbols to work? When I put in simple symbols for counterbore, depth and countersink (for example) AutoCAD fills in with a square box representing that the symbol can't be found or not readable by the software. I assume it has to do with me being on a mac, but how can I fix?

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Kush,

AutoCAD allows you to add GD&T symbols to drawings using the TOLERANCE command:
https://help.autodesk.com/view/ACDMAC/2021/ENU/index.html?guid=GUID-F83AC6CE-B180-458F-BB88-6EEF424F...

You can also use the QLEADER command to automatically attach GD&T symbols to leaders:
https://help.autodesk.com/view/ACDMAC/2021/ENU/index.html?guid=GUID-5FEC133A-5EBD-4EFA-9E44-771E8548...
I attached a tutorial "Using GD&T Tools in AutoCAD" to my post. It explains details of using GD&T Tools in AutoCAD for Windows, but on Mac the workflow is the same.
