Some of my blocks are printing in color instead of grayscale

I'm using Autocad LT 2018 for Mac.  I've selected Grayscale.ctb as my plot style table.  I've changed the colors on one of the problem blocks (Jacaranda) from truecolors to index colors, but it still prints in color.  Any suggestions?

You can open the pdf file and reprint it with a pdf printer with the grayscale setting. I guess mac should have a similar printer.

Grey Print.PNG

The ctb file doesn't control true colors. In your example file, some of the solid hatches are in true color gradient style so you can't get grayscale color when you print them into a pdf file from AutoCAD.

Hi @Anonymous ,

AutoCAD cannot convert colored gradient hatches to grayscale gradient even if the colors are index colors. So they always print in color.
Don't know really is it a bug or feature....

I see that works for your Windows version but I tried it on my Mac and for some reason when I try to print it from the .pdf file it only gives me the option of selecting a printer.  Thanks anyway.  🙂
