Shaded and Shaded with edges display issue with version 2024

There seems to be a display bug in the new Autocad for MAC 2024.(U.61.M.182) when viewing a 3D object with "visual Styles", Shaded or Shaded with edges. the image in the background floats around when using 3D orbit. All other visual styles seem to work just fine.

Hi @desertskypictures ,

What image are you speaking about?

Can you make screen recording of 3D Orbit, I'm afraid the issue isn't visible on the static screenshot.

The gray image is how it supposed to look the color one is all messed up. You can’t see the wheels in the background. They’re blocked by the bolster.

Hi @desertskypictures ,

This looks like a glitch related to the particular drawing.

Can you share it here on the Forum?

I checked and it looks like other drawing that I have don't do it.

On this drawing if you do Shaded or Shaded with edges first than it works. BUT if I use realistic first then shaded

than is messes  up from then on.

Hi @desertskypictures ,

I think the problem is in the Transparency property applied to the solids.

If you will turn off Transparency visibility on the Status Bar or change objects Transparency to 0, the glitch goes away.

BTW, the current Transparency for new objets in this drawing is 9:

Was it intentional?

That doesn't fix the issue on my system.  FYI running on  a Mac Studio ultra if that means anything.

Hi @desertskypictures ,

Looks like I was wrong about turning off transparency visibility, but setting 3D Solids transparency property to 0 (zero) resolves the issue on my side:

Strange, that seems to solve the issue.  I had to turn the transparency setting up and than off and voila it works!

Thanks for staying with the problem.  I didn't have any issues with drawing I pulled in from version 2023.  This drawing

was created with version 2024. I'll cross my fingers that it will work tomorrow 🤓

Thanks again for the help,

Alex
