Setting the proper scale on an architectural drawing

I created a model of my shop and I want to print it on an 11x17 piece of paper. I want to set the scale to 1/2" = 1'. When I do that in page setup the model shrinks to the corner of the paper... How can I make the printed result be 1/2" = 1'?

The shop is 24' across so I want it to be 12" across when I print it.

Hi Chuck,

I checked and the result is - yes, you can use 11x17 paper (A3) to accommodate viewport with shop plan at 1/2" = 1' scale.

I did indeed figure it out. The response to my post wasn't very helpful. Just telling me it's possible didn't really help. None the less, I figured it out. I had to create a new layout the proper size of the page I wanted to print out. I used the included architectural plans style sheet and had to mess with the scale to get it to fit on the page. Then I copied the drawing window making it the right size to fit in the style sheet. Then I messed with the scale on the properties tab to get it to fit properly on the sheet and allow me to include the scale in the details of the drawing.
