Selection delay and zoom delay in AutoCAD LT 2016 for MAC

Hi Guys,

I have read a lot of familiair topics on this forum but still I haven't found a solution for my problem 😞 

I'm having troubles with selecting objects. When making a selection window or selecting separate objects I have to wait for a second. I feels like my mac really has to calculate the selected objects. Also when I zoom in and out it takes a split second to do that. Sounds not too bad but it's really affecting my workflow and soooo annoying. Maybe it has something to do with my graphic card. Because some text appears blurry on screen when zoomed out. It seems like every update AutoCAD or MAC releases, my workflow is ruined.

I have tried to switch off selection preview, hardware acceleration, 3dconfig, openGL, closing all palettes, Dynmode, etc.

Any suggestions are welcome!

After a whole afternoon pulling my hair out and almost throwing my Macbook out of the window I discovered the cause of the problem!

One certain attribute was causing the trouble in my drawings (don't ask me why). I switched off the specific layer and my drawing works (and zooms) just normally.

I'll keep this post here for anyone having the same problem.

My AutoCad 2018 for Mac is having a major mouse delay in drafting space. I need object snaps on to trace over a PDF in background. I've removed and reinstalled AutoCad 2018, restarted my computer a number of times, restarted/ reset setting on the Mac about mouse controls. Dynamic UCS is off. Updates for AutoCad for Mac 2018 have been installed. Computer restarted again. Nothing is working.    

Do you have any recommendations for what else might be causing this?   Thank you so much!
