Right click 'Enter' not working correctly.

I know how to set the right mouse click to 'enter', but it doesn't work correctly it seems.  If I select an object before entering a command, then enter a command, then right click - the shortcut menu appears instead of acting as 'enter'.  If I enter a command, then right click to accept command, then click object, then right click or enter everything works fine.  But I want to click on an object with no command entered, then enter the command, and then right click for enter.  In this scenario it doesn't work and I have to lift my hand off of the mouse and click enter on my keyboard.

Is there a fix for this?

thanks

yes, the problem appeared upon new install of 2020.

I have migrated settings but found a number of items that have required adjustment.

I do have additions, however, dont feel they are causing the problem.  I use simple support path variations, lsp and customization of files.  The problem occurred prior to install of the additional paths.

Ive run an AutoCAD repair, but am wondering if I should uninstall and then reinstall in the event there may have been glitches in the original install process. ???

My advice is:
- Uninstall AutoCAD with the additions using standard Uninstall tool.
- Install AutoCAD without migrating settings from previous release
- Check if everything works as it should
- Migrate settings (if you need this) and check again if everything works well
- install additions (one by one if it is possible), check operability of necessary functions after adding each component.
Only with this way you will be able to find the cause of the breakdown.
