Revolve exits after selecting axis endpoint

When I am using revolve, I select the object, and after hitting enter it asks for the first axis. I select it and I move on to the axis endpoint. I click it and it just exits revolve and goes back to the selecting cursor

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi @ethan.huang7 ,

After you select object, you need to pick the first axis endpoint (not axis itself), then select other endpoint of axis.

I think if you have running OSNAP enabled and when you pick on axis for the first time, you select the same endpoint as for the second point.

Hi @maxim_k ,

Thank you for reaching out. I have a shape with a stright edge, and I select the first point, then the second which is different if that is what you are asking. I am not sure what OSNAP is.

Hi @ethan.huang7 ,

Can you illustrate your problem with screenshot? Or better - can you attach the drawing with the problem?

OSNAP is Object Snaps:

Turn off running Object snaps before using REVOLVE:

I get this on my side:

What do you see at the command prompt (command window) when you are trying to revolve?
Can you share your drawing here? I'll look at it.
