Replacing a Dim style with another

Hi, We have recently updated our template so all dim styles have certain properties, the old template had some issues with the dimstyles. But as we have used the older template for multiple drawings, is there a way to update the dimstyles of those drawings either in one go (a script or something in the full version?) or via a command in MAC LT version?

Thanks

Tom

Hi Tom,

In either case, you will have to open each of the files in which you want to make changes, because on Mac there is no such tools as "AutoCAD core console" on Windows side.
After you open drawing, you can:
- change dimension style System variables (one by one) according to new dimension style, then save changes to the dimension style you already have in the drawing
or
- rename existing old dimension style in the drawing to avoid conflicts, insert drawing with updated dim style to the drawing, select all dimensions in the drawing and change their dim style to new one in the Properties palette.
