Registration & activation problem

Hi,

 

I have Autocad 2016. My Autocad was begun chrashing when launching. I have reinstalled the Autocad, than i activated the programme.

 

First opening everything was ok. Next time when i opened the programme asked me the activation. I cant online activation, it gave me serial number error.

 

Than i got the offline activation code from an Autodesk Expert. It was worked first time, but the next opening the programme asked me again Activation code. That's a recurring problem that the request code changing each time.

 

What do you suggest, should I reinstall the autocad programme?

Hi @Anonymous,

 

Sorry about the issue. Could you provide your computer specifications? Have you tried disabling your antivirus before starting the program and activating with the code?

Hi Matthew,

My computer specs are that : iMac (27-inch, Late 2012), 3,4 GHz Intel Core i7, 24 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675MX 1024 MB

And I have no antvirus.

Hi Ugurgok,

 

Please try this solution. And please note that after this action, you may need to activate all your Autodesk products. But after that the activation status should be remembered.

 

0. Quit all app, including Autodesk app Adobe app, ect.

1. Open Terminal Window. You can find the Terminal app in Applications/Other/

2. In Terminal window type the following scripts:

 

cd /Library/Preferences/FLEXnet\ Publisher/FLEXnet

open .

 

3. Rename all the files started with adsk.

4. Launch AutoCAD. Activate it via the online option.
