Hi I reinstalled autocad for mac. but when I try to open a new job the Path Not Found warning appears and does not open the program. if I try to open an old file it doesn't recognize fonts, it doesn't make me change the thickness and it doesn't find the types of lines. I ask you for help, the assistance has not been able to help me.

What was the reason for reinstallation?

Please specify AutoCAD version you are using and macOS version installed on your Mac.

How are you trying to launch AutoCAD when this message appears?
Can you share screenshot of the message?

Have you installed this Update?

If no, install it and try how it will work with the Update.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Lisa,

What macOS version do you have on your Mac?
If it is 10.15 - Catalina, then you need to install this update to AutoCAD 2018 for Mac:
https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autocad-for-...
Have you installed it?

Can you show screenshot of "About AutoCAD" window?
Menu AutoCAD 2018 - > About AutoCAD.

Sorry - no attachment.
And I asked you to attach "About AutoCAD" window in order to make sure the update is installed.

Path not found.PNG

Same with me. When I copy and put the CAD files in different folder it respond like these "path not found" when I reopen the file. Cannot rename the files also, because I want to save it in different name. It can open but in READ ONLY FILE setting, cannot edit or revise the drawing.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Mark,

You ask Windows OS specific question on AutoCAD for Mac Forum (different OS).
But anyway, it seems AutoCAD cannot open file because file name is invalid or too long. At the same, as I see from the second screenshot, you cannot rename file in Explorer.
So I think you can try to rename that file using this trick:
