Opening A Dwg file:

When opening a dwg in model or paper space, the cursor dissapears and the dwg is not reactive until the layout is minimised and then maximised.

Is this a settings issue? Not that much of a problem but not so slick either.

Hello Maxim, no cross hairs in dwg altho they are active - one can select ‘blindly’.

Pointer appears outside model space.

Hi Gray,

Do you have this issue just after you installed AutoCAD?
If no - have you tried to reset AutoCAD?
If yes - have you tried to restart your Mac?
Which Mac model do you own? (Please provide specs)
And which OS X installed on your Mac?

No the issue is recent - Autocad has been installed on my Mac since April 2015

~ No to reset Autocad and Yes to restart Mac.

Try to reset AutoCAD from AutoCAD menu, but keep in mind all your custom settings would be lost (menu, ToolSets, etc.)
