Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

If you attach the file to a post I can convert it for you if it doesn't have any 2018 unique items in it.

Hi @Anonymous,

Yes, you can download DWG Trueview. That latest version (2018) should let you convert down to 2013 format.

Hi @Anonymous,

No, unfortunately there is not a version that runs on the macOS.  You can join the Beta for the next version of AutoCAD for Mac (2018) here. That program is very stable and should open the files so you can save them down.  The only draw back is that there are no object enablers for the Mac application so if you have any special objects they might not convert down.

You choice of a MAC is the limiting factor: the 2018 version for that one is not out yet.

You need to set 2018 to always save down for now, if you only have 2017 on your MAC and cannot access the website for AutoCADMobile you'd better ask a friend with 2018 next to you to convert the file for you.

Hi @Anonymous,

Were you able to open your file? If not, please attach it here and I can help to get it open in 2017.

HI @TomWafer4127,

DWG Trueview will not open a SheetSet. Or are you indicating that once the files have been saved down, that the sheetset no longer works?  Did you rename or relocate the files during your conversion?

Would you like to etransmit the set to me in the original 2018 format so I can see what might be going on?

If your data needs to be private or confidential, please email it directly to me at john.vellek@autodesk.com and please include a link to this thread in your email.
