NLS Files Error 'Mac

Every time, I try to export a dwg file but keep getting a pop up warning that says 'The NSL files required to interpret the text entities and symbol table names in you drawing of code page ANSI_1252 cannot be found o are not installed in you system. CAD can try interpret text entities and symbol code names using default system code page..' I have tried to solve this myself however I am struggling as I dont understand the issue or what is causing my drawing to not exist. I also have CAD.22 for mac & SKP.23 - would really appreciate it if someone could help !

Export your DWG in AutoCAD or MAC 2022 to... what please?

And is the problem just this one file, or all of your files?

This only happens when I export from my SketchUp Model to 2d Cad - It never used to happen however it has been an on going issue with all of the SketchUp Exported to dwg files. When I open the dwg file the error pops up and my drawing/Sections or plans are nowhere to be found, When I manually draw on cad it is not an issue - but it is a hassle when I have already built the model etc

SketchUp User Forums are full of these if you get a chance, worth exploring.

Autodesk offers this page on the topic https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/AutoCAD-NLS-error-...

Correct, SketchUp exports can have these types of issues sadly, looks like they use a 3rd-party-not-Autodesk converter. Ways around it are discussed over at SKP's user forums too.

At the bottom of that page Autodesk lists what else you can do, none have much tied to being in WindowsOS (link below should highlight that, including DXF file manual edits you can do)

Hi @t_joshi0320191 ,

You can also look at this discussion - The NLS files required... here on the Forum, and at my answer to the question discussed in this topic.
