Middle justification doesn't center the text properly

Anonymous

Hello,

All my text elements justified on 'Middle' don't centered themselves correctly.

They are always a bit offset from the centre, meaning their actual middle is placed on the left of the actual centre axe. There are no extra space after the text that could have extended the length of the word. I attached a screenshot showing this issue. I'm using Autocad 2014 for Mac.

Would anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this issue?

Thank you.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,

Can you attach the file (or part of it) with this issue?

Dear Maxim,

Thank you for looking at it. I attached the file.

In yellow, you will see 3 text with the different styles of justification (right, middle, left) and how it offset from the anchor point.

Strange thing, but as soon as I double-clicked text to edit it the justification become correct. This is true for text objects and for attributes inside blocks.

I attached your drawing after I opened it and performed double click on each of texts.

EDIT:

It is possible that you have such strange justification behavior because text objects were aligned with TEXTALIGN command previously.
