Looking for a way to split the area of an irregular shape into two equal halves.

Title says it all. I'm new to AutoCad LT and downloaded it for this specific purpose. I'm open to other programs that can do the job.  The example attached is from me manually doing it in Illustrator with some scripting and trial and error.

There is no any kind of automation for such task in plain AutoCAD.
You can always use trial & error as you do in Illustrator.
There are 3rd party add-ons that can do this for you, but they are not free and they will not work in AutoCAD LT, only in full AutoCAD version and moreover - only in AutoCAD for Windows.

I think the "trial & error" trick with creating boundaries and fine-tuning it with grip edit is one of the things that you can try.

I attached AutoLISP routine from the topic I mentioned in my previous post which seem to work fine in AutoCAD for Mac for your task. So you need full AutoCAD version (not LT) to try it yourself.
