Hello,

Hopefully a simple question for someone - my 'Layers' window keeps turning itself off !

Properties Inspector, Tools, Commands etc all stay on but not layers.

Any clues as to how to remedy this ?

Thanks

Andy

Hi Andy,

Which AutoCAD version do you have? macOS version?
Is Layers palette docked or it is in floating position?
Do you use second (external) display?
When it turns off? Can you reproduce the issue with exact steps?

Can you also share screenshots:
- when Layers palette is on (visible)
- when it is "turned off" (invisible)?

Hi Maxim,

Thanks for your help

AutoCAD LT for MAC

Yes I use a second display (larger screen) at my desk

When I go to 'Window' and click on Layers it turns on and I see it on the screen for a few seconds then just turns off.

Please, look at the screenshot:2019-01-04_16-53-22.png

Try to use button #1 to unhide Layers palette permanently.

Or you can undock Layers palette with button #2 - the same way as you did with Properties palette.
