Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Online help is wrong about step import in AC for Mac: there is no such feature. You can only import SAT and DXF (DXB) files.

It seems, then, that finding a way to convert .stp into SAT is the only way to do this iwith CAD for Mac?  I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks!

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi, I'm using Rhino for Mac to convert STP to DWG. If you need to convert few files in a short period - 90-day trial of Rhino for Mac available:
http://www.rhino3d.com/download

Maxim,
Do you have any experience using the .stp to .dwg conversion, via Rhino, for AutoCAD 2013 on Mac?

Thanks,

Hi miko92,

Yse, I have. There is nothing difficult in the process, just open STP file in Rhino and save it as DWG or DXF.
