Hello, im having trouble with apple script editor, as I’m trying to find scripts with autocad but it doesn’t find anything but .scr files, and the MacBook editor saves everything as .scpt. Thank you!

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Henry,

You don't need to use Apple Script Editor to create or edit SCR files for AutoCAD, because it (Apple Script Editor) is intended exclusively for Apple Scripts and AutoCAD scripts are not related to Apple Scripts.

To create / edit AutoCAD SCR files on Mac you can use TextEdit.app:
- create new document in TextEdit.app with menu File -> New
- use menu Format -> Make plain text
- save file -> in Save window uncheck "If no extension provided, use txt" option at the bottom of Save window, change txt extension to scr and pick on Save button.
File will be saves with SCR extension and you will be able to use it in AutoCAD.
