How to measure layout paper size?

I am trying to measure the layout paper size. It seems to be stuck in model space. I have tried DIST and MEASUREGEOM but it doesn't pick points. Here is a screenshot. Notice the thick outline on the model.

Hi Sharon,

When you are in the Layout you can switch from viewport to Layout with:

1/ This button on the Status Bar:

 2/ With PSPACE command - just type PS and hit Return

3/ By double-clicking on the area outside the viewport
