Welcome to the Autodesk Forums!

Hi,

You can change icon size for Tool Sets palette and for Status Bar in AutoCAD preferences window (Look and Feel tab):

Use menu AutoCAD -> Preferences, than select "Look and Feel" tab on the left side.

Hi

I have looked in my look and feel, but for some reason in my version of look and feel there is nothing for changing the icon size,

I'm using 2017 version .

thank you for your help

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Paul,

In 2017 version of AutoCAD for Mac you couldn't change the size of the buttons on the ToolSets palette anymore. That is because of the completely new design of the palette.

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD for Mac forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

@maxim_k is correct that AutoCAD for Mac 2017 no longer allows the option of controlling icon size. I should mention however, that if you create your own tools palette, there are some pre-configured icon arrangements (including different sizes) that you can select from. Perhaps this will help with some of your most used tools.

Hi @john.vellek

I am also facing the same problem in 2017.

It is getting little inconvenient, and I think Autodesk should not remove such simple options & make things complicated for the end user. However,  is there any option for me to customize the size apart from creating my own tool pallete which is a time consuming process.

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD for Mac forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

I agree that the ability to adjust icon size was a nice option but the last version that allowed this was AutoCAD for Mac 2016.

If you really miss this feature, I encourage you to join the AutoCAD for Mac Customer Council

the "look & feel" section is missing everything below "fade controls".  The icons are way too tiny to make out.  Help!

Hi Jonatan,

Since 2017 version the only one workaround is to use ToolSets palette customization as described here:
