How do I resize the layers palette?

I am trying to resize the right hand palette, that one that contains layers, properties, and blocks.

Currently the only way I know how is to hide the palette using the small double arrow at the top, and then hover over the collapsed menu until it expands, and then resize it like that. But sometimes the size of the palette when I hover is smaller than when it's fully expanded, so it's hard to get the exact size I want.

Thanks

Hi @dzuerbig ,

Please check that you installed the latest Update to the version of AutoCAD for Mac you are using.

How do I install the latest update?

When I go to the product download page for Autocad MAC there are no updates listed, and clicking on "Updates" doesn't do anything.

And when I go to the "Product Updates" tab and search for "Autocad" nothing shows up.

It says under the "i" to download updates separately, and there is no indication on the downloads page that there is a new update available.

As I stated above, clicking on "Updates" doesn't do anything, and there is no update for the base application in the list.

I've also tried using both Safari and Chrome.

Update: So I downloaded the full installer, but when I try to run it it tells me that Autocad is already installed.

So is the update procedure to uninstall Autocad and then download it again?

Update 2: So I found the update. You have to change the date range to "All". Also typing "Autocad MAC" shows nothing, you have to type "Autocad for MAC"... ugh, why is this website so badly designed. This whole process is actually embarrassing. Can you guys go over to Mathworks and take some notes?

You'll need to show us in a video please, ensure you capture the entire AutoCAD2026 program window @dzuerbig

And you will need to confirm your MACOS version too please.

In the meantime, I see this below, do you have it installed? ABOUT command inside your AutoCAD2026 will confirm
