Hi. I hope I can explain this properly.
I am using AutoCAD LT for MAC 2017. So far it is great. I am not very familiar with setting up Sheet Set Templates for use with Project manager.
I have made an 11x17 sheet template similar to the standard ones that come with AutoCAD. I have made attributes for things like project name, drawing number, scale etc. All the attributes are now a block. I did this based on reverse engineering the templates provided by ACAD.
When I set up a new project I select the template I made to use at the standard layout.
The layout comes in fine with the attributes showing their default value. What I can't figure out how to do is to edit the attributes for each sheet.
I thought there is some sort of link between the attributes on the sheet and the fields in the project manager tool palette.
I can't figure out how to edit or update the attributes in the layout such as Sheet Number, Scale, Author etc...
I can see that the fields in the project manager toolbox link to some of the attributes in the title block, but not all of them. How do I add a field to the layout section of the project manager so that when I enter information there it updates in the block? This existing fro Sheet number and project name but nothing else???
Is there a tutorial on line somewhere? I searched forums, youtube etc but no luck.
Best regards,
Grant
