EMBEDDING AN IMAGE (TITLE) INTO CAD DRAWING WITH AUTOCAD LT Mac OS WITH NO X-REF

We are looking to streamline the process of embedding (not x-reffing) an image or title name in our original title blocks of our construction documentation sets, we are using AutoCAD LT for Mac OS.

Please note that this operation is super easy to perform on a PC, we are having issues with our MACs.

Please let us know.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Ludmila,

OLE feature is OS specific and not available in macOS, so it is not available in AutoCAD for Mac.
The only one workaround - create logos and title names in AutoCAD itself, then use them in your title blocks.

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD for Mac forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

@maxim_k is correct that em bedding images files is not possible in AutoCAD for Mac.  If you need help in converting your image to vector format I am happy to take a look at it for you.  Obviously not all images are suitable for this type of operation but there a variety of ways to convert to vector which include utilities on the web, conversion of outlines/paths in programs such as Adobe Illustrator, and even tracing in AutoCAD.

Let me know if you want some help with this.

If these are logos, you could purchase a type of software called RASTER TO VECTOR to do the conversions for you as well.
