disappearing palettes

Hello,

When I'm working in autocad I ussualy have more than one of the tool palettes on my screen.

Now when I bring up, for example, an Excel file, all those palettes dissapear while my modelspace visibly stays in place behind my Excel window. The palettes return when I bring Autocad to the foreground again.

I tag-team autocad and excel quite a lot when I need to take notes of coordinates listed on the properties pallete of certain points on my drawing and its frustrating to constantly go back and forward between Autocad and Excel.

Is there a way to lock the palettes in place so they don't dissapear when I access Excel, or any other kind of program?

thanks in advance!

I'm afraid this is impossible because of the nature of the palettes windows on Mac. The same way Adobe illustrator (and Photoshop) behaves.
