Disable 3D orbit

Hi,

By accident I constantly activate 3D orbit by pressing Shift+Middle Button.

Is there any way to turn that shortcut off? It is driving me nuts!

Best, Jens

Hi @jvsk_V9TUMDGBR3BE ,

I'm afraid - it is impossible on Mac.

But you can try "workaround" - set System Variable MBUTTONPAN=0, then you will see OSNAP context menu instead of 3DORBIT. You also won't be able to pan using the middle mouse button.

Thanks for your answer, well maybe it could work, but I would need to fix a new hot-key for panning then-but maybe that just might be the workaround I need.

Use Spacebar panning - press Spacebar an then pan with mouse as usual. This works inside commands.

As for me - I prefer to use mouse wheel zoom out/in instead of pan.

You could go into CUI>Mouse Buttons>Shift+Click>Button 3 and either assign a new command or delete button 3 altogether to where it doesn't do anything when you hit shift+mouse wheel.

Hi @ccombs7TVNT ,

Unfortunately, changing the behavior of mouse buttons using a CUI command is not possible in AutoCAD for Mac...
