DELETE key not working...

I am using AutoCAD 2017 on Mac through Parallels, so my computer is running through Windows. However, I am having an issue using the DELETE key on my keyboard. I have seen what others have been saying about this issue and suggesting to set PICKFIRST to 1, but it was already set to 1 once I installed it. I also saw something about setting QAFLAGS to 0, but that command doesn't seem to exist on AutoCAD 2017, or it might have a different name. Is there any way to get the DELETE button to work? I appreciate any help on this problem!

So you are positive that PICKFIRST=1 and QAFLAGS=0?

QAFLAGS is not documented, but it will be recognized if you type it in.

So is this AutoCAD for Windows or AutoCAD for MAC?

How do you know in your AutoCAD 2017 that the command QAFLAGS does not exist?

Did you try typing at AutoCAD's command prompt with no other commands running: QAFLAGS

Yes, the only command that shows up available is “AFLAGS”. Is this the command that I should be looking for?

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Francisco,

Delete key wouldn't work in Parallels virtual machine as Del key on PC unless you will be using it in a combination with Fn key on your Mac keyboard. So if you want to erase something - select it and use Fn+delete key combination.

And, of course, PICKFIRST should be 1.
