Degree symbol not plotting correctly into PDF - shows up as a line of dots

Hi all,

I can't seem to figure out how to correct the issue of the degree symbol plotting as dots when i plot to a PDF file.

I have been reading all the answers to " capture all " the fonts but i cannot for the life of me find that option to select in my AutoCAD 2023.

Attached screenshot of my plot window. No where do i see a settings, or additional tabs to find the " capture all fonts "

Thank you!!

I don't see a screenshot from your PDF actually showing the problem: can you share that here now?

Hi @alison5V4UE ,

Please provide additional information:

- What macOS version is installed on your Mac

- What font are you using for the Text Style that doesn't display the degree symbol correctly when saved to PDF?

Can you share drawing file with this problem?

Degree symbol should be in the top line above " appliance door" and it knocks out that whole row of text

Have you installed >>>>this<<<< Update?

What macOS is installed on your Mac?

What Mac model do you have?

Just downloaded the update and still no luck!

imac M1, 2021

MacOS - Ventura 13.4

I can open your attached PDF correctly, font shows up fine.

I always " publish" to PDF from the layout tabs - never had an issue before but maybe something in the settings has changed here?

Tomorrow I'll try on Mac mini M1, but I don't have Ventura on it, so will test on Monterey.

Meanwhile - can you share PDF file you get from this drawing?

Hi @alison5V4UE ,

I tested your drawing on Mac mini M1 with macOS Ventura and didn't find any problems.

Can you open attached PDF?

Do you see the issue?

Appreciate it, thanks.

Hi @alison5V4UE ,

Please create PDF with Preview button in Print window and attach it here.

Attach also a screenshot of the print settings at the moment when you create the preview.

And one more question: if you open PDF with Preview app - do you see the same problem?
