Cursor Jumps and will not connect

I am running AutoCad LT 2014

My operting system is OSX Yosemite

My Processor is 2.3 GHZ

And my Memory is 16GB

One of my main problems is that my cursor jumps around when I zoom in. I tried the suggestion of just selecting nearest but that did not seem to help.

Is there maybe an update I am missing? Or is it my settings? Or is it this program.

I am also having problems with the fillet command - it stopped working - it was working fine earlier but now won't let me curve 2 end points.

I ran the free trial version and what I have listed does not happen - it is smooth and easy and I am able to zoom in and work on all my details with no problems.

I was thinking of deleting the program and re-installing it - but the download copy might be the problem? How would I go about downloading a fresh copy? The Autodesk Store only allows me to purchase - but I have already purchase?

Any thoughts or advise would really help me.

Thanks.

Hi Mario, please try and download a fresh copy of the program first. You can download it from our Virtual Agent (click on Download Links, choose product and version). Then re-install the program and see if you still have the problems.

Hi Mario,

I think at first you need to verify Snap Mode settings you have in the drawing: try to use Command+B shortcut to turn off Snap mode. You can also use button on the Status Bar to toggle Snap Mode:

About the second issue with FILLET command:

- verify that fillet radius is correct (maybe it is too big)

- verify that the objects you are trying to fillet are on the same elevation

- verify that the objects you are trying to fillet can be filleted, You can fillet arcs, circles, ellipses, elliptical arcs, lines, polylines, rays, splines, and xlines.

You can also attach here your problem drawing where you can not fillet - I will look it.

Hi Maxim -

Very strange stuff is happening.

I followed your suggestion regarding turning Snap off - but then I am unable to snap to the end point to add or continue to draw.

So what I did was to turn off snap and then turn it back on again. I also turned off all other settings such as Ortho Mode and Object Snap and then turned them back on again. Since I did this everything seems to be working correctly.

Regarding the other issue with Fillet - It seemed to only be working on left side angles and not right side (see photo). When I deleted the right side lines and re-drew them from bottom to top and then from right to left Fillet worked as it should.

Not sure why all this is happening? But I am fine for the time being.

Thank you for your help.

Thank You Lynn -

I will follow your suggestion - thanks for the link.

I just fear that with my current work load I might not be able to get the program back and I'm not sure if I can download this clean copy without having to delete my current program.

Once I meet my deadlines I think I will try it.

Thank you very much.
