Hi guys.

we are having a bit of an issue with our ctb file, which is saved in our server and all computer are linked to it.

The MAC computers are showing it correctly but the PC's are not. On Pc's is shows the layers in its standards (autodesk original) settings.

Is there a way t fix it?

thanks

Can you post screenshots of what your MAC users are seeing and what your PC users are seeing.

Hi,

Basically, the PC is showing everything in colour and MAC black and white as it should be.

CTB file - even though is the same - linked to the same folder. When seem from PC the plot style property show the colour as 'use object colour'  and on MAC as 'Black'

Hi,

is that an older ctb file, created or edited by MAC version?

Re-create the ctb file on windows and test it again.

What is your current version on Mac and which one on PC?

Why I ask:

PC is 2023 and MAC 2020 (i think) not the same version...

I am not sure in which one the ctb file was created.

I recreated the ctb on PC and it worked.

does that means that if we have to amend any layer it would have to be on PC? or maybe the one has the latest version?

 thanks so much!!!

That means that you have to use the PC version if you want create or edit a ctb file, yes.
