Copy + Paste Bug

I'm trying to copy and paste a part of a drawing (some closet cabinetry), and when I select it (either by clicking and dragging right down towards left or left down towards right) it also selects a bunch of other stuff. Really, stuff that's not even there. You can see it in the picture below. Anyone had this happen? Any solutions out there? Thank you!

Hi,

share your DWG, otherwise we have to guess.

v1) Familiar with groups?

v2) possibly hatch island

DWG will answer all questions.

(It has nothing to do with copy&paste)

Thaw and turn on all of your layers. Then run REGENALL command.

Still nothing there for sure?

Now try that selection again: if those items appear selected again, and while they are still all selected, change the color of everything to BLACK (color 7). Do they appear now after you deselect everything?

Your MacOS version is...?
Your AutoCADLT year version is...?

Thanks so much, both of you. I actually figured out that there was one particular shelf I was copying that was creating the issue. So once I didn't copy that, the problem was solved. I appreciate your help! Have a great Thursday!
