How can I reduce the column and row in the table?

(note: when I inserted the table, it was too big I had to reduce the size of the latter 10 X)

Hi @ruirego ,

>>>>>>How can I reduce the column and row in the table?

Select cell inside table and change its width and height in the Properties palette:

Or use these grips to adjust width and height manually - select grip and drag it to the new position:

hello Maxim,

its not the cell, its the top cell (the grid).

i think it has something to do with scale?! because i tried to insert a cell in a new  file without scaling down and it was fine.

@ruirego ,

I think this information from AutoCAD online Help should help you:

Customize Display of Column Letters and Row Numbers

By default, the In-Place Text Editor displays column letters and row numbers when a table cell is selected for editing. Use the TABLEINDICATOR system variable to turn this display on and off.

The text color, size, and style and the line color are controlled by the settings for column heads in the current table style.

What AutoCAD for Mac version do you have?

Do you insert table from another drawing?

The size of column heads is defined in table style.

If you have 2023 version of AutoCAD LT for Mac, you can edit Table Style with TABLESTYLE command. If you have an earlier version of AutoCAD LT, you cannot do this on Mac.

Hi @ruirego ,

>>>>>not the header size. the row's and column size.

The size of cells of column letters and row numbers depends on text size of the title, header and data cells. Plus there is relationship between text height in title, header and data cells and settings of MEASUREMENT and INSUNITS System Variables.

If you have the drawing with MEASUREMENT=1 and INSUNITS=4 (typically the drawing created with metric acadiso.dwt template) and the size of text for the cells in current Table Style is too small - for example: 0.125 units - the table will look like this:

2022-11-20_11-25-32.png

If you set text size for the cells to 4 in the Table style in the same drawing and create new table, the table will look like this:
