Cannot import image into Autocad

When I try to import an image into my CAD document the JPEG file is greyed out. Has anyone seen this or have any idea what the problem is? Thanks.

Hi Wesley,

Which command are you trying to use to attach JPEG image?
Can you post screenshot of the window which opens when you want to attach JPEG file?

Note: You cannot attach raster images with IMPORT command (menu File -> Import), you need to use IMAGEATTACH command (menu Insert -> Raster Image Reference).

Maxim

Hi Maxim,

I resaved the JPG I was trying to import under a new file name and was able
to bring the JPG into my CAD file using Insert > Raster Image Reference.

Thanks for following up on my post.
