Can't Join and/or Union Regions

Hello,

I attempting to make a 3.47 by 3.80 by 1.98 speaker. I'm currently working on the outer edge of it, but I've run into a problem: I can't seem to make 2 unions join. (I'm trying to join the perimeter and the bottom.) I used the 'join' tool, didn't work, tried the 'union'  tool, didn't work, and didn't know what else to do. Please help me 🙂

If it'll help and if needed, I'll add a screenshot of  what I'm trying to join

"didn't work" means nothing to anyone over here, expand the commandline to 3-5-9 lines tall, try both again, and see what AutoCAD is actually telling you is the problem. That will make it easier to fix.

If you are still confused, then share your actual DWG file please.

It says "At least 2 solids, surfaces, or coplanar regions must be selected."

>>>...I have no clue how to share .dwgs...<<<
Come to the website where you posted (here is the link https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-forum/can-t-join-and-or-union-regions/m-p/10353856#M1053531 ), click on REPLY button, file attachments are below the text box.

Or use your own OneDrive Account (free for every Windows user on the planet) or your DropBox account if you have and prefer to use it, to share files.

TIA
