Bold text PDF issue

When PDFing some title block text needs to appear in bold.

It looks correct on the DWG paper space, but not once on the PDF.

Any thoughts?

Font substitution in your PDF viewer perhaps: what font is that?

Arial Bold.

Should be no issue in PDF viewer, standard font.

Arial Bold, is, well BOLD, not to be confused with ARIAL: your PDF looks absolutely correct with this information.

Did you ever figure this out by chance? I'm currently having the same issue although I am using a different font.  Looks bold in the .dwg but as soon as I open the .pdf all the text looks same none if it is bolded.

@Anonymous TTF fonts can look bold if they have a Z-setting.

What font you are using?
Is it one of the default macOS fonts?
Please specify also your AutoCAD version and macOS version.
