BLOCK ATTRIBUTES WITH SAME VALUE

Hello.

 

Is there a way to create a block where I can have multiple instances of the same text but only input the value once?  It seems there's probably a way in Autocad for PC but not for MAC.

Hi Bret,

The trick with FIELD linked to attribute value, described here:
https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-forum/use-same-attribute-multiple-places-in-a-block/m-p/76493...
works in autoCAD for Mac too.
I tested it in 2020 version (see attached DWG)
