HEY Autocad for Mac forum:

I wanted to know first, what is happening when my drawing is automatically copied in number sequence?
Is there any way to turn that off?

Hi Paul,

That is because the drawing you edit is inside folder with iCloud sync enabled.
This problem exists in AC for Mac since Apple introduced iCloud drive sync on macOS, there are two workarounds:
- don't store drawings you want to edit in iCloud enabled folder
- turn off creation of BAK files by setting system variable ISAVEBAK=0 (https://help.autodesk.com/view/ACDMAC/2020/ENU/index.html?guid=GUID-25AF36C1-CA4A-4C1C-8D93-1C4F436C...)
