Autocad run on a MacBook?

I’m considering laptops and leaning towards the MacBook Pro M1 pro 16GB. I’ve heard engineers say MacBook is terrible with autocad?

Im not an engineer, but was hoping to learn cad and other 3d rendering as a hobby.

It all depends on what tasks you want to perform. AutoCAD for Mac is good enough as general CAD software.

You should keep in mind that Rendering and material authoring is not available in AutoCAD for Mac.
