AutoCad on Ipad

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hey!

I'm a a student and downloaded the app AutoCad from Applestore and it went fine.

I logged into my account and it worked fine.

I also made a license and got the produckt key in my mail. Now when I press on Ipad "Go Pro" I cannot find a way to redeem the code I got in my mail.

I really need help to find a way to upgrade my AutoCad to Pro on my Ipad.

Thanks for advance! Smiley Happy

Welcome to the Autodesk Forums!

Hi,

In order to be able to use AutoCAD 360 Pro on your iPad, you need to buy Pro subscription using in-app purchasing:

https://www.autocad360.com/blog/how-to-go-pro-5-reasons-why-autocad-360-in-app-purchasing-rocks/

Your student license (and product key) does not give you the right to use AutoCAD 360 Pro on iPad, because AutoCAD 360 is a separate application and it doesn't tied to your desktop AutoCAD license.

NOTE: To create and modify objects in drawings, you must have an active AutoCAD mobile app subscription.

In your MOBILE app, if you can't go into PROPERTIES after selecting the viewport, unlocking the viewport, then using the pulldown called STANARD SCALE, then your mobile app does not offer it.

Open a Chrome Web-browser (notice I wrote CHROME), navigate to the WEB version, login with the exact same credentials, you should see your files, then you can do it there (same steps as above) https://web.autocad.com/
