Hello, I am a high school student in a technical school part time learning engineering and architectural design. I use the base 13" 2017 pro with a 256gb SSD but have pretty bad time as far as zooming in and out, moving around the drawing and curser lag. I've tried to fix this by setting different values to 0, turning off 3D object snap, and giving autoCAD full disk accses but it hasn't fixed any of my issues.
I am worried this may be an issue with maybe my computers graphics as all I have are integrated graphics Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 1536 MB. But at the same time, I can play Minecraft just fine which is far demanding than my drawings. Also on this forums I have seen others using a 13" pro with the same graphics having no issues.

Hi Lucas,
What AutoCAD version are you using?
Do you have this problem in all of your drawings, even in empty, newly created?
Do you create and edit 2D drawings? Or they have 3D objects?
What about current Visual Style? Is it 2D Wireframe or different one?
Thanks for the response,
Thank you, turning on file sharing did have a dramatic impact, still not as smooth as I’d like but actually usable now.
Hello Mate! I saw your post about AutoCAD running slow on your MacBook Pro 13" 2017.
I was struggling w the same problem and unfortunately the solution described by other user didn't help.
But today i found a way to "fix" this problem and run your drawings at a better frame rate. Autocad have a bar at right that show Layers, Properties and other information. Try to hide that bar. My MBP runs my drawings smoothly now. The only problem is the Layer window floating above the "model" space.
