Hi,

Have you tried to reset AutoCAD?
if you need to reset AutoCAD options to default settings, you need to launch AutoCAD from Dock by holding Shift key on keyboard and clicking on AutoCAD icon (you need to hold Shift for at least a few moments after you click on icon).

I thought about it, but I will have to re-do all my settings manually,
which will take some time.

OK, you can try to create new user account on your Mac, login to it and try to launch AutoCAD.

If it will launch, than something is wrong with AutoCAD preferences in your main account. And there is no other way to solve the problem - only reset AutoCAD.
When you reset AutoCAD it creates backup archive of the old preferences and customizations, you can use it to restore CUI customizations.

Hi @kristinabhalter

Before you try and reset your settings I would recommend that you log in as a new user on your system as suggested in this thread. Doing this you are able to test AutoCAD in a new user environment.

If the issue still occurs in the new environment post back in the thread and we can troubleshoot from there.
