AutoCAD LT 2024 for Mac crashing

Autocad LT for Mac 2024.1.1

Mac Sonoma 14.1.2

Apple M1 chip with 16GB memory

Recently, the last month, the program crashes after 30 minutes or a few hours - no pattern.

I have only one file open and it is not complex.  There are no other programs open on my computer.

It can happen on any file.

Program has been very stable until just recently.  The only thing I can think is that my license renewed in the last month but there are no issues with that - I checked my account and I am paid up until March of 2025.

Any ideas? This is most inconvenient.

Jeff

No ideas without crash pattern.

Except:

Have you tried to Reset AutoCAD?

Some changes in the AutoCAD setting can cause this error. So, select the option reset to default setting.

Reset was a big improvement. Still crashed toward the end of the day but only one time.

is there a recommended procedure for post crash recovery? Should I trash the crashed file and rename the recovered file so that the x refs work?

Thank you

You can run AUDIT command in crashed drawing and see if there are any errors in this drawing.
