I just dowloaded program to new MAC.  All lines appear the same color, pink!

Why is this happening?

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,

Can you explain your problem in more details?
Do you see all lines in pink color in one of your old drawings?
Or everything is in pink color when you create new objects in the drawing?

If the latter, the reasons could be;

- the current Layer in the drawing has "pink" color assigned
- the current Color is set to "pink", but not to "ByLayer"

Can you attach sample drawing here?

Maxim

Hello @Anonymous,

This seems to be regarding using the layer properties tool. You can assign any color to the layer you wish, take a look at the article regarding how to use this.

I will move this post to the AutoCAD board for more information.

Hi Michele,

As I suspect, you the Color property for new objects in your drawing is set to "Magenta" ("pink").

You need to change it to "ByLayer".

 - Open Properties palette (if you have not done this) by using menu Window -> Properties Inspector or with Cmd+5 shortcut

- Ensure that nothing is selected in the drawing area

- Change "Color" property to "ByLayer"
